Poor technical support

I am a NSS service person. Why do we have to wait 84 minutes on hold... Then get a tech who knows less than me. I can read through the service manual myself, I don't need to do it again with a support tech.

User's recommendation: Don't buy Navien, other's are better.

Poor customer service and defective units 2 OF THEM!!!

Disappointed/pissed off

I purchased 2 naviant burners in January 2015, one for my house and one for an in-law appartment attached to my house. The unit for the in-law had to be repaired in March 2022 after only having it for seven years. The cost to repair the unit $4600.00. I just observed the newly repaired unit is leaking water on the cellar floor. I called the plumbing contractor that repaired the unit. I can only imagine how much this is going to cost me. I'm retired on a fixed income. Over the past seven years I have spent thousands of dollars repairing both units.

Tech Support won't help me troubleshoot

When I call tech support, they ask if you are a contractor or a homeowner. I proceed to tell them the issue I am having with the water heater. Then I am told that they can only talk with a contractor onsite to try to help diagnose the issue. Had a contractor come out only to be on hold for almost 2 hours before tech support suggested what the issue may be. Still do not have the issue resolved and may end up paying hundreds of dollars in labor just to replace a relatively inexpensive part. Very frustrating to say the least!!

16 e error code

Called navien, went on their wait /call back list 3 hours later Got a text that i was booted off the list and got a link to get put back on the call list Typed in the link, It didnt recognize my phone numbers as real numbers.. possibly because of canadian area codes? So i Called and waited for an hour and a half Got a level 1 tech who said hed get a level 2 tech to call me back I told him ive been given the run around all day, and i was worried id be ignored He reassured me that i was next on the list for the level 2 to call No one called back.
